Clinical Instructor, Department of Foundations of Medicine
My research centers on optimizing the treatment of complex infectious diseases, with a particular emphasis on managing infections caused by multidrug-resistant gram-negative organisms. Clinically, I work with the infectious disease team to integrate evidence-based antimicrobial therapy into patient care, with the goal of improving outcomes for individuals with severe and challenging infections.
As Co-Chair of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program, I provide oversight of anti-infective prescribing practices and lead initiatives aimed at enhancing the quality and safety of antimicrobial use within the institution. I also serve as Director of the PGY2 Infectious Disease Pharmacy Residency Program at NYU Long Island Hospital, where I train and mentor pharmacists in advanced infectious disease practice, clinical research, and antimicrobial stewardship.
