Why I chose NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine: “This is an awesome place to train, and our program prides itself on its engaging, collegial, and enthusiastic culture. Because of our high surgical volume, residents receive outstanding cutting-edge training from a multitude of fellowship-trained attendings. We are given early autonomy, in both the inpatient and outpatient settings, to strengthen our clinical decision-making skills. Each resident receives individualized attention and a tailored training experience that allows them to focus on their clinical and research interests. The camaraderie between residents and faculty makes for an enjoyable working environment, and I am excited to watch our program grow.”
