NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine’s mission is to educate and train exceptional physicians dedicated to upholding the principles of primary care in their future medical careers as well as address pressing physician workforce shortages in healthcare. In alignment with this mission, each year a significant majority of our students pursue residencies in primary care disciplines.
Match Day 2026 Results
Match Day 2026 marks the fifth consecutive year that 100 percent of the 25 members of the graduating class at NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine matched through participation in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP). Seventy-two percent matched in primary care specialties and disciplines that align with the school’s mission; 76 percent will remain in New York State for graduate training; 52 percent will continue training at NYU Langone Health locations, including 40 percent at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island.
