NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine’s Office of Student Affairs supports individual and professional development initiatives that create an inclusive community for medical students. Our mission is to foster excellence, compassion, and integrity with proactive advising and career counseling for all students.

Our office develops and implements programs, policies, and services that promote self-awareness, resilience, and wellbeing. We do this in a learning environment where students witness, experience, and expect a sense of respect, collegiality, kindness, and cooperation.

There are many opportunities to participate in clubs and activities. As a medical student, you may find yourself drawn to particular areas of interest and may wish to work with other students who share those interests.

The Office of Student Affairs welcomes students to start clubs and organize activities in areas of interest and offers support in the creation of specialty interest groups. Representatives from our office are available to assist with creating a plan for your club, as well as with setting goals.

Accessible Housing

The Office of Student Affairs accepts and processes requests for accessible housing from students with disabilities who are otherwise eligible to reside in NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine housing.
