Students come to NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine to engage in an innovative three-year accelerated curriculum that trains them to become outstanding primary care physician leaders in internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, or general surgery. Simultaneously, our faculty are dedicated to providing exceptional advising and mentorship. Emphasizing a future career in general practice, our program uniquely pairs admission with the offer of a directed pathway to residency to specific primary care fields, allowing our students to establish a strong foundation in their residency training program while pursuing their medical education.
