MD Student Wellbeing

At NYU Grossman Long Island School of Medicine, we strive to develop and enhance a safe, nonjudgmental environment for medical students that cultivates professional identity and wellbeing. Becoming a physician is a process that can be simultaneously exciting and overwhelming, and we are committed to supporting your success as you progress through medical school. We seek to educate, support, and encourage the development of lifelong resiliency skills that improve one’s mental, physical, and spiritual wellbeing, and accomplish this through various programs and services.

We are proud to offer all current students and future matriculated students enrolled in our MD degree program Full-Tuition Scholarships regardless of need or merit—a bold effort to simultaneously address the rising costs of medical education and promote mental wellbeing by alleviating the burden of educational debt.
